inspirational album covers

Below i have researched pop punk albums to give us inspiration to the generic convetions on the cover and what our audience would look forin an album they would buy.

From looking at these album covers from the pop punk genre i can see that many artist choose not to have the band photo on the cover and have a drawing/illustration instead. However when some bands choose to have a photo it is well edited maily using a contrast of black and bright
bold colours sometimes forming a cartoon look.

linking with the album research i have also had a look at pop punk band advertisitng posters to see the generic conventions used to catch their audiences eye making the album sell.
